A loan of $400 helped to buy two cans of solder.

Charles's story

Charles, 36, is a very hardworking, optimistic forger. He’s been in a relationship for more than 10 years and has two children who are 9 and 13 years old who are his reason for living and main motivators to strive daily to improve their quality of life. They all live together in his own house that he succeeded in building as a result of his work. They share the joys of being a family and of making progress there.

Charles’ work consists in doing all types of lathe work and welding motors, cars and others. His public is very varied and he has an extensive clientele made up of individuals and of both public and private institutions that have helped him become established in the labor market. He has a workshop at home and works with the help of three people. He’s been in this business for about 14 years. His customers’ demands have motivated him to always do good work and to continue improving in what he does. He’s open from 8 in the morning until 8 at night.

He likes what he does very much because it allows him to work in what he’s been passionate about since he was a boy. The opportunities this job provides him and the satisfaction he gets from it every day have led him to feel more confident and happy every time to have put his efforts into this activity. He hopes soon to open a welding shop and to work even harder giving the best of himself always to continue doing quality work.

This is MFP loan #2 and he’s grateful for the opportunity and the trust placed in him in order to be eligible for this loan. On the other hand, he commits to make his payments punctually. He is happy to be part of the communal bank he belongs to because he’s seen that the members are responsible, supportive people. He will use the requested 1,000 soles to buy two cans of solder.
