A loan of $750 helped to buy animals to fatten up and then sell either live or butchered and also to prepare the soil.

Félix's story

Félix, 52, has a spouse and two children. His children are attending school and Félix has worked in agriculture for the last 8 years. His father taught him and for the last six years he’s been raising pigs and cattle that he then sells live; he sometimes butchers them and sells the meat.

The loan he’s asking Fundación Campo for is to buy animals to fatten up and sell live or butchered. The other part of it is to prepare the soil he has for planting; he’s already gathered the harvest but hasn't sold it because the price of corn isn't good. His wish is to strengthen his beef and pork selling business since he’s very well-known where he lives because of his business.
