A loan of $400 helped to buy manure and fertilizers.

Yasmin's story

Yasmin is thirty-five years old. She has four children, who she loves very much. She would give her own life for them in order to offer them a life with dignity and above all, to offer them everything that she could not have when she was young. Yasmin's home is located in the city of Ica, which is characterized by its warm and friendly climate, and its developed agriculture. Thanks to this, Yasmin makes a living in agriculture, especially in growing cotton, grapes, lima beans, and others. Yasmin has worked since she was very young; she needed to support her parents since they had few economic resources.

Day to day, Yasmin works as a farmer. She works for about nine hours a day. She believes that her work is going well because she is responsible and above all, because she likes to cultivate her plants.

Yasmin is very thankful to the Kiva loaners. Thanks to the help they have offered her, she will be able to buy manure, fertilizers, and other items that will allow her to maintain her crops well, and to be able to have a good harvest. This will improve her income and she will be able to fight to make her greatest dream come true: to give her children a good education and to have another business.
