Al-Rhma Group's story

Al-Rhma Group is made up of five women who live in the same neighborhood in Sana`a, Yemen. They requested a combined loan of YER 180,000 as financial support with the aim of expanding their businesses.

Suadh is 38 years old, married, with three children, some of whom attend school. She is a tailor. This business allows her to meet her needs without much difficulty. She obtains her supplies at a market in the city. She requested a loan of YER 40,000 from Al-Amal Microfinance Bank (AMB) to buy sewing items, to expand her business. The extra income generated as a result of this loan will help in easing the payment of school fees.
