Pablo Ramon's story

Pablo Ramón is originally from the town of Condega, some 35 km north of the city of Estelí. He has been living in his own home for about 18 years together with his wife, who works as a teacher, and with his four children.

Pablo Ramón currently works as a merchant mainly buying and selling vegetables such as onions and potatoes. He buys the products in the rural areas and distributes them in the surrounding towns of Estelí, Ocotal, Somoto, etc, which generates income. Furthermore, he has a farm where he keeps his livestock and he grows basic grains such as beans and corn for consumption, and has been engaged in this work for about 20 years. It is worth mentioning that these are his main sources of income with which he supports his family.

Pablo Ramon came to the Ceprodel offices to ask for a new loan to buy five calves for fattening which will be grazing on his property and later they will be sold at a greater weight and a better price bringing income in from customers.
