Agripina's story

Agripina, 52 years old, is a happy, enthusiastic and hardworking woman. She lives with her husband and five children. She lives in her own home she built at the side of her husband thanks to the struggle that each one put into their work. She has a workshop at her home. She copies clothing designs and also creates designs for ladies, men, and children accordingly to the customer’s preferences, and so each outfit materializes as she puts creativity and commitment into execution of the details. All of this perfectionism is reflected in the satisfaction her customers show upon receiving a quality garment. She has been in business more than 30 years working alone. What she likes about this work is that the customers help her to be better each day both in her work and emotionally, and besides that she selects exclusive customers and this permits her to receive good payment for each outfit she makes. She expects to continue making progress in this work and has high hopes for the future. This is her second loan through MFP, and she is grateful to those people that provided the funding she needs to increase her working capital. She promises to make timely payments. She is happy to belong to the communal bank and they are very supportive and responsible. With the 600 soles she will buy clothes hangers, colored thread, needles and some special fabrics to make dresses and blouses.
