A loan of $1,175 helped to buy cigarettes, provisions, soap, padlocks, and candles for his business.

Unisa's story

This is 48-year-old Unisa. He is married and has two children aged 14 and 5. He has one additional dependent, who lives with him and is his sales assistant.

In 1997, Unisa established his provisions, soap and cigarettes business. He began his business so that he could abandon his previous cattle rearing occupation, and he learned it through apprenticeship. Working 7 days a week and 16 hours a day, he earns about Le 1,800,000 every month from this business.

Unisa would like a loan in the amount of Le 5,000,000. He has already received and successfully repaid two loans and now requires a new loan in order to buy cigarettes, provisions, soap, padlocks and candles. He hopes that this loan will enable him to increase his monthly profits by approximately Le 900,000. In the future, Unisa plans to own a house, acquire a shop in the Kenema shopping plaza, and has an ardent plan to travel to the holy land of Mecca. He thanks you for your support
