Nguermalal Group's story

The 'banc villageois' which houses this group was created on May 17, 2010. It is composed of 37 women who are united by friendship and living in the same village. Their work includes small-scale commerce and sewing.

Ms. Anta, the group's official, is 47 years old, married, and the mother of five children. She has a small business and also makes clothing. In the photo, she is the one standing at the right.

She purchases her goods (shoes, clothing, perfumes, ointments) in the capital and resells them in her neighborhood and at the market. Her loan will enable her to bolster her business in order to make a bit more income.

She would like to use her profits to boost her savings and to support her husband in covering family expenses.
