A loan of $375 helped to pay for ingredients used in making macapuno (coconut dessert).

Evelyn's story

This is Evelyn. She previously accessed a 15,000 PHP (Philippines pesos) loan that she used to buy ingredients used in making macapuno (a type of coconut dessert). Her earnings were a big help in their personal, household and business expenditures. She is also selling frozen products for additional income. She is continuously working hard to provide income for her everyday expenses. She would like to apply for another 15,000 PHP loan to buy ingredients used in making macapuno. She will also use the loan for buying frozen goods like hot dogs, ham, stuffed pork and other items. Her profits from her business will definitely help her to sustain their daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart. Evelyn hopes that she will have a good life and dreams to expand her business. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her life and business every week, and this is where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the fellowship and the Word of God she studies. * All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital and pay microfinance loans.
