Leng's Group's story

Leng, 52, and a father of four kids, is a farmer who manages to overcome the burden of providing daily food for his family through rice and sesame growing. He is able to earn up to 16,000 KHR per day on average from the business that he has been involved in for four years.

Now, in a group of two, Leng and his co-borrower are in their first cycle of borrowing with VisionFund, Kiva’s partner. He is a group leader. Both of them are seeking for 1,000,000 KHR each. Leng is going to spend his portion to buy rice seed, fertilizer, and to pay plowing fees. He highly hopes that he can increase his income even more so that he can have a better living and build a new house for his kids.
