A loan of $3,675 helped a member to buy fabrics and thread.

Kuña Pora 1 Group's story

This group from the city of Encarnación was set up after contact with one of the Foundation's members. They have been working with the Foundation since 2006 and are now in their 23rd cycle.

One of the group members is Miriam, she is a seamstress and has a little sewing workshop where she works hard everyday. She always has lots of orders and work and she uses this to support her family and is doing well.

She is asking for this loan to invest it by buying fabric and threads to fulfil her current orders. She is grateful for the opportunity she receives and tells us that her greatest wish is to expand her workshop and employ others.

In this group: Jacinta, Graciela, Ana, Ramona, Alicia, Emilia, Florinda, Feliciana, Miriam, Juana, Maria, Antonia*
