A loan of $4,625 helped a member to buy Chipa to sell.

San Miguel Arcangel Group's story

The "San Miguel Arcángel" group was set up through the promotions that were carried out in their town. All the members are from the same area, they known each other and are neighbours. The objective of each member is to work, create a communal spirit and to reach the top level of the programme. Isidora is President of the group, she sells Chipa for a living, which is a typical Paraguayan food. Everyday she goes out to sell it around the town. Her wish is to continue progressing and for the group to get stronger everyday. She states that she feels very comfortable in the group and hopes to benefit more. She will put her greatest effort into ensuring that the group does well. She is asking for this loan to invest it in the purchase of Chipa, which she can then sell and continue working as before.

In this group: Isidora, Blanca, María, Teofila, Teofila, Elva, Aurora, Perla, Juana, Maria, Hilda
