A loan of $525 helped to purchase sausage, milk, cheese, margarine, sauces, pasta, beans, sugar, butter, and soft drinks for her business.

Sandra Suyapa's story

Sandra is a 31 year old married woman with three dependent children. She lives in the San Lorenzo community in southern Honduras. She owns her own home, and for the past two years, she has been selling groceries, detergents, fruit, and soft drinks. Sandra customers are the neighbors and friends of the community where she lives. She is a hard-working woman who strives daily to get ahead. She is a small business owner who started from scratch and is improving her business and her life with the profits obtained from her sales.

Sandra is requesting the loan from Prisma to stock her business. She wishes to purchase some products that she doesn’t have in her general store such as sausage, milk, cheese, margarine, sauces, pasta, beans, sugar, butter, and soft drinks. With the support of the loan, she hopes to improve the quality of life for herself and her family. Her dream is to have a large business where she can sell everything.
