Juana Maria's story

Juana is 47 years old, married, and the mother of two children, ages 5 and 21. She is from Matagalpa, but currently lives in Managua. A merchant by occupation, she sells plastic items.

She started in business 12 years ago with her own capital, selling plastic items in the market. This is a product much sought after by customers, and a business that generates considerable earnings daily. Nowadays she has two stores selling plastic items, and both are very profitable. She has the help of her husband and her daughter and hopes to increase her business's inventory, so that she can achieve better earnings

Juana is requesting a loan to buy plastic items such as plastic cups, spoons, purses, as well as towels and cleaning products. She believes this loan will help her buy all the necessary merchandise to add to her store, with the aim of increasing income.

Her future plan is to become a successful business person selling plastic items, and her immediate goal is to improve the infrastructure of her shop, so that she can improve her business's appearance.
