Fredis Osmar's story

Fredis Osmar lives in the community of La Guaruma in the municipality of San Juan de Limay, with his wife and four children he needs to support providing then with schooling. He’s a farmer by profession; he grows basic grains, raises dairy cattle and pastures calves.

Fredis is known as a hardworking, enterprising person. He has more than 15 years’ experience in these lines of work; he works alongside his family in his farm which is highly productive. He wants to make good use of it exploiting one of the best lines of work which is raising cattle.

He’s requesting a loan to buy a pregnant cow and a calf to fatten up. His project is to fatten up the calf in order to sell it to repay the loan and the pregnant cow would be his profit. He states that his greatest objective is to increase his herd size with pregnant cows and to sell dairy products throughout the year and to make his farm more productive so his income will improve and as a result so will his family’s standard of living.
