Diana's story

Diana is from Kobuleti district, West Georgia. She is 21 years old and lives with her husband, child, and parents. Diana works as a waitress and her husband is a meat distributor. Both family members get a monthly salary.

Also, the family is involved in the agricultural business. In particular, they grow nuts, maize, and mandarins on family-owned land. Part of the harvested production is sold at the local open market and the rest is used for family needs. Diana works hard, but the family still doesn’t have enough income for some savings and to improve the living conditions of the family.

With the received credit, Diana will purchase pigs. She will place the pigs in a shed located in their yard, raise them, and after several months the family will be able to have piglets. This will increase the family's animal husbandry business and their income, as well. With the increased income, Diana will improve the living conditions.
