Rhona is married with two children who attend school. She also takes care of her sister’s children. She has a business selling charcoal and has been in this business for many years. She also generates additional income from operating a retail shop. She works from her home and sells to all categories of people seven days a week.
She has applied for a loan of Uganda shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more bags of charcoal. Her major business challenges include thieves and seasonality. She aspires to become a wholesaler and also to build rental rooms. She resides in her own house and the family has access to piped water and electricity. Her monthly expenses includes school fees and paying for utility bills.
