A loan of $1,100 helped to pay for his college degree courses.

David Rafael's story

David is 24 years old. He is a humble young man with a desire to succeed. He is from the capital city of Managua, unmarried, and studies at the university. His mother, who is both father and mother to him, helps him with his studies. David is completing his fifth and final year of a law degree. He tells us that he chose this degree because he enjoys it. In addition, it will give him the opportunity to get ahead because it will help him obtain a higher professional position. He works on the police force and in this way, helps society.

He wishes to use the loan to pay for his courses and be able to graduate with a law degree. He feels that this will help him obtain better positions within the institution. He also says that after graduating, he wishes to continue studying for another degree in psychology because this closely relates to his work. This is one of the goals he wants to achieve and in this way, be able to put all the knowledge he acquired in college into practice. David says that this loan will give him the opportunity of realizing one of his greatest dreams, graduating and being able to get him and his mother ahead.
