Hugo Edilberto's story

Hugo Edilberto, 43, is married and has two children who are 8 and 9 years of age, both elementary school students who are in his care and attending school. He’s from Somotillo, a place located in the northwest part of the country. Hugo is a very hardworking person. He started the business as an inheritance from his father. He studied and sold alternative medicine and this is how he learned the business. Unfortunately, he was only able to study for three years because of the lack of economic resources at home. He’s currently been working in this business for 22 years. He buys and sells natural (alternative) medicine from place to place and door-to-door. He pays cash for his purchases and sells for cash and on credit in the municipalities in the north of the country. The loan’s objective is to invest in working capital buying natural remedies like: Suelda con Suelda [cream], colon cleanser, sacred bark, flax and fat burner, among others to provide better customer service and improve his income in the near future.
