A loan of $1,500 helped to buy general merchandise to stock his store.

Eliu De Jesus's story

Eliu is a humble, 36-year-old man from Sauce, León Municipality. He’s married and father of two children who are 1 and 11 years old respectively. Only one of them is currently in school, the other one isn’t old enough for school yet. He’s a merchant in the grocery store business. He started out in commerce helping others in a snack bar where he gained experience and total business savvy. That was when he decided to start another snack bar business that he started with his own capital when he was 30-years-old. His expectation is to expand the business to earn higher profits.

He’s asking for financing to buy all the general merchandise like shampoo, rice, sugar, beans, soap, bread, cream, etc. because he feels that this loan will help him buy products like tables and chairs he still does not have thus providing better comfort for his customers. His future plan is to improve the infrastructure of the locale his snack bar is located in to give the business improved appearance aiming at making the business grow so that it will generate higher income.
