A loan of $575 helped a member to buy women's clothes to sell.

Anesa's Group's story

Al-Rafeeq Group consists of three members from Aden, Yemen. All of the members are women. They have requested a 120,000 Yemeni rial (YER) loan for buying women's clothes. Anesa is a 45-year-old mother of seven children. She only knows how to read and write. Two years ago, Anesa decided to help her husband. He works very hard and does his best to provide his family with food and clothes, but, unfortunately, the money he makes is really not enough. In the beginning, she started going door to door, selling others products in return for a small rate. Now that she's got enough experience selling clothes, she intends to have her own business selling women's clothes; therefore, she asked for a loan of 40,000 YER. She hopes that she will make a profit and will buy a lot of products and sell them to new clients in different quarters and places in her city.
