A loan of $2,250 helped a member to buy scissors, hair dyes and combs.

Mujeres De Potrero Poli Zona B Group's story

The 13 communal bank members are involved in various types of businesses. Each of them invests their part of the loan to sustain their individual businesses and some of the members invest in new business ventures.

Leovigilda is a hairdresser; she has a small salon with minimal necessary equipment that is needed in order to do her work. She is very good at what she does which has helped her to build a strong client base and continue to grow her business. Leovigilda wants to continue expanding her business so that one day she will have a great beauty salon and will also be able to help other people with job opportunities.

She will use her part of the loan to invest in the purchase of scissors, hair dye, combs, etc. These supplies will give her what she needs to be able to continue working.
