A loan of $1,400 helped to buy stock merchandise for his wife's store.

Rene's story

René, 55, is a cheerful, very hardworking man living with his spouse with whom he has three children who are all adults with their own families. He lives on an agricultural estate that belongs to someone else. He and his spouse care take this estate and work hard to provide better quality of life for their family.

René’s work consists in raising cattle. He rises early to take the animals out of the corral; he feeds them and then takes them out to pasture. He raises his animals alongside the estate owner’s where he works. He’s had this job for more than 11 years and started raising his own livestock six years ago. The good thing is that he earns a salary as a caretaker and while also watching over his own animals. He does this work alongside his spouse who is always there to support him.

What he likes about his work is that it’s tranquil and also likes to watch how his animals grow under his care. He hopes later on to be able to buy a piece of land to care for his animals only. This will be MFP loan #6 and he’s asking for your collaboration so he can make his plans reality. He commits once again to make his payments like he’s done previously. He’s very happy to belong to his communal bank because they are all united and very responsible.

He will use the requested 3,500 soles to buy merchandise for the grocery store he opened recently so his wife can work there and generate extra income.
