A loan of $500 helped to buy scissors, a hair dryer, and an electric razor.

Elizabeth's story

Sra. Elizabeth has a son and lives in a rental property that contains one room with fine finishes and a wooden plank floor. Her home also has a kitchen, a bathroom, a dining room, and a living room. The house is located in the District of Escobar Uria in the city of La Paz.

Elizabeth works independently in two business activities: giving haircuts and making crochet items. She alone handles the expenses such as food, basic services, and clothing for her family.

The loan she is requesting will be used to buy equipment for her hair salon, such as a pair of new scissors, another hair dryer, and an electric razor so that she can grow her business. Elizabeth’s dream is to earn more income so that she can improve her quality of life and acquire a location for her beauty salon. She currently provides haircuts out of her home.

This is the first time she has worked with IMPRO and Kiva.
