Amalia, age 50, buys and sells traditional bags to earn a living. She has been in engaged in this business for six years. She and her husband have four children, one of whom is still in school. Amalia is a very hard-working entrepreneur.
Amalia has requested a PhP 15,000 loan amount through NWTF in order to purchase more bags to offer for sale.
In the future, Amalia would like to save enough to provide financial stability for her family.

The organization offers its clients a wide variety of products, including loans for micro-entrepreneurs, hospital income benefits, life insurance, accidental death benefits and more. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the reach of these products to low-income urban and rural communities.
