Jassa's story

Jassa lives in Montserrado County in Sinkor, one of the areas that is almost like the center of Monrovia. She is 33 years old and lives with her boyfriend and two children, ages 6 and 9. Her children are attending school. She is a high school graduate.

She has been running a table for the past ten years where she sells pepper, rice, palm oil, vita, onion, okra, etc. in the local market. The profits from her business are used for food and house rent. She started this business with money from her boyfriend. She spends 8 hours working at her business and enjoys the response (buying) from her customers. She uses a taxi to get her goods on her table from the wholesale store.

She is requesting a loan to purchase more pepper, rice, palm oil, vita, onion, okra, etc. for her business.
