Gevina is a thirty-year-old married woman with three children living in Kasese, Uganda. For four years now she has been working as a nurse and she was inspired into service by her desire to fill the medical gaps in the country. In order to supplement her meager salary she decided to set up a retail shop and with the proceeds she is able to provide the basics to her family.
Gevina intends to use the loan to buy general merchandise such as bread, salt and cooking oil to sell.
This loan provides farmers and low-income entrepreneurs from underserved rural areas with access to financial services. By supporting this loan, you allow more farmers and rural entrepreneurs to access capital.
