Emmanuel's story

Emmanuel lives in Gardnersville, one of the largest and most populated areas in Montserrado County. He is 33 years old, married, with two children aged five and nine who are in school and live at home. He is a high school graduate and has a certificate in medicine. He worked as a physician's assistant to start this business, where he sells lots of drugs. One problem that he faced is the price of the drugs because he has to purchase the medicine in USD, and now the exchange rate USD to LRD is too high. He enjoys the many cases he receives every day. Whenever he doesn’t go to sell, his customers get angry with him because sometimes he executes first aid. Most interestingly his business helps to pay his children's school fees and rent. Having enough money to support his home makes him proud of his business. He is asking for a loan to purchase more drugs like cough tablets and syrups, Paracetamol, Quinine, Amodaquine, etc. to increase his commodities to render good treatment to his customers. His dream is to educate his wife and children and to attend college in the near future.
