Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

A loan of $800 helped to buy vegetables and chicken to sell.

Reyna Isabel's story

Reyna is 36 years old. She lives with her husband, who works as a driver and with her son, who is in school. Reyna is a mother who works very hard in her home and for the wellbeing of her family. For this reason she has her own business with which she can help her husband with all of the expenses. Reyna sells chicken and vegetables in the regional market near where she lives. She is very conscientious and hard-working and would like to improve her sales. She is requesting a loan from INTEGRAL with which she can count on the money necessary to buy more chicken and a better variety and quantity of vegetables with which to serve her clients and improve her business.
