Two years ago, Blanca decided to set up her own business, a small general store, where she sells basic household necessities such as sugar, rice, beans, bread, soft drinks, lard, snacks condiments, chicken, coffee, and other items.

She has always had a business; previously she sold meals. She is requesting a second loan from ODEF, for 11,000 lempiras, with which she is going to buy a second-hand freezer so that she can sell cold cuts.

This investment will help her to sell cold cuts in the general store. Her plan is to reinvest the earnings to make her business grow.
