A loan of $425 helped to buy items to resell in her shop, like soap, vita, oil, pepper and rice.

Joetta's story

Joetta is 38 years old, married, and has six children between the ages of 16 and 24 years. They all live in Monrovia, the capital city of Montserrado County, which is the major area for producing fish for the Liberian local market. She says that she is good at managing her home and business.

Joetta has been running her grocery shop for the past eight years in her community. She learned her way of selling from her mother. She is requesting a loan to purchase items to resell in her shop, like soap, vita, oil, pepper and rice. She likes her business, because her daily sales volume is high. Her plan is to build a house and expand her business.
