A loan of $400 helped to buy corn, cooking oil, tomatoes, onions and pork rinds.

Sandra Haydee's story

Sandra lives with her family. She and her husband have three children. She runs a business selling tortillas, pupusas and vegetables. The business has enabled her to help her husband support the family.

She notes that currently she needs a loan in order to purchase the ingredients to make her products. For example she will buy corn in greater volume, cooking oil, tomatoes, onions, pork rinds, firewood and other necessary items that she needs to have at hand in order to make her sales.

Her aspiration is that her business will help her children succeed and that it will improve their standard of living and provide the resources so they can realize their objectives.
