Gaza Group's story

Gaza is a group that consists of four woman from Taiz, Yemen. They are requesting a 160,000 YER loan from AMB to help them improve their businesses. Huda, 24, is the mother of three children. She didn’t complete her education because she got married when she was 18 years old. Her eldest child is 4 years old and the youngest is just a month old. Shehas started her business two years ago. She goes door-to-door selling products in her neighborhood. She is making modest profits. She is requesting a loan of 40,000 YER to expand her business. She wants to buy a new collection of products and sell them to clients not only in her neighborhood but also in nearby quarters. She looks forward to opening her own retail store when she has earned enough profit.
