Altise is an EarthSpark clean energy entrepreneur selling Lanp Enèji Pwòp solar light bulbs on a rent-to-own basis. She lives in Chardonnieres, Haiti about a 6 hours drive from Port-au-Prince in an area without access to electricity. She first started selling EarthSpark products after being a customer. She had bought a Lanp Enèji Pwòp to replace her sooty kerosene stove. After noticing that her son’s eyes didn’t water while studying with a Lanp Enèji Pwòp the way they had under a kerosene lamp, she decided she wanted to spread the word within her community. She currently has 30 customers renting out Lanp Enèji Pwòp and will soon be expanding her solar entrepreneurship business. Altise is asking for a loan of 200 USD so that she can add TiPowa solar desk lamps to her inventory.
