A loan of $775 helped to buy good for her food business.

Maria Gloria's story

María, 36, is single and has two children in her care. She lives in the community of San Lorenzo in the south of Honduras and has her own home. For four years she has been in the food business, selling fresh produce, basic grains, vegetables, and pastries, and many customers prefer her business because of the wide variety she offers. She works Monday through Sunday and most of her customers are friends and neighbors in the community.

María is requesting a loan to buy fresh produce, chicken, oils, potatoes, yucca plant, onions, green peppers, broccoli, cabbage, rice, beans, coffee and sugar, which are the products she sells the most. With the help of the loan she hopes to improve her lifestyle and business. Her goal is to renovate her house and food business.
