A loan of $1,200 helped to buy merchandise (shorts, shirts, tank tops, and other things).

Pamela Janet's story

Janet is a young woman, 20 years old, who lives in the city of Nazca which is characterized by its warm climate and tourist attractions, among which the most visited are the Nazca Lines. Janet has overcome much adversity, but in spite of that she keeps moving forward; Due to her few economic resources she could only study until the fifth grade of secondary school, but she would have liked to study the major of accounting.

Pamela works with much effort in a hotel in her city as an employee. She works around eight hours a day and with the earnings from her work she is able to cover her day-to-day expenses. She believes she is moving forward due to her desire to come up and above all her responsibility.

Janet is very thankful to the Kiva lenders since, thanks to the help they offer her, she will be able to purchase merchandise, such as shirts, shorts, tank tops and other summer clothing, since she already has some orders from her clients. In this way she will be able to have some extra income and she can improve each day and continue fighting to be able to make her biggest dream a reality: to have a shop of her own.
