A loan of $700 helped to buy two oxen.

Miguel Antonio's story

Miguel is 62 years old, married, and has six children. Since he was very little, he did agricultural work together with his father and brothers. At the age of 19, he got married and began working on his own. Then he worked with livestock and his wife and children helped him. In order to buy agricultural supplies, he must travel a distance of 3 kilometers from his house until reaching a place where he boards a vehicle that takes him to the site where he makes his purchases. After that, he must move the supplies to the field where he has his crops. He has to pay a cart driver to transport them.

The loan that he is requesting from Fundación Campo is to complete the balance of the money needed to buy two oxen. With this investment, he will no longer have to pay for the transport of agricultural supplies to his field, but instead will be able to do it himself with his oxen. His wish to is provide his younger children with an education and work in the company of his older children.
