Al-Manar Group's story

The Al-Manar group consists of five women from Taiz, Yemen. They have requested a loan of 170,000 YER from AMB. Seham is a 40-year-old single woman and the leader of the group. She has a technical diploma, and she has taken some training courses in sewing. Now she has the ability and skills needed to start a business as a dressmaker. Seham requested a loan of 30,000 YER to help her to buy a sewing machine and other necessary materials. When her profits improve and she becomes a well-known dressmaker, she wants to open a savings account with AMB.
