Dramane's story

Born in 1974 in Bamako, Dramane lives with his 2 children and his 2 wives in a traditional family setting in the district of Heremakono, Bougouni town. As well as having a professional career as a teacher, Dramane is interested in revenue-generating activities, notably the buying and selling of cereals, which he buys from the farmers of Sansola and the surrounding area.

Having properly repaid his 4 previous loans, Dramane is on his 5th loan from Soro Yiriwaso, which will be used to buy 3 tons of corn and 1.5 tons of millet. He makes his sales at Bougouni market for cash or credit, to a retail clientèle made up of men and women. Dramane hopes to make a monthly profit of 120 000 francs, which will be used to meet the family's needs, to repay the loan and to reinvest in his business.
