A loan of $425 helped to pay for a clinical study for goiter surgery.

Zeneyda's story

The young Zeneyda has a business of selling milk products in the city of León. She has been doing this work for eleven years in order to support her household. She leaves her home, which is located in a community in the department of León, at 5:00 am, and she opens her business at 6:00 am to offer [her products] to all her customers, ending her work at 12:00 pm from Monday to Friday on this same schedule. In the afternoon, she prepares her products for the following day. She began this business as a street vendor, with a little capital that was the product of her savings and support from her husband. She is the mother of three children. Only two are in her care.

The young woman is applying to Ceprodel for a loan that she will use for medical expenses (completing a clinical study for goiter surgery), which will allow her to recover her health and thus continue working with her business. During her operation, her oldest daughter will be in charge of helping her with the business. She hopes to recover her health as quickly as possible to be able to continue offering support to her young children.
