A loan of $400 helped to purchase metal sheets to build doors and windows.

Eler's story

Eler is a 58 year-old single man. He has a son of age, who lives in the city of Tarma due to his studies. Eler owns his own home and lives in a rural district.

Eler started his activity as a blacksmith over 15 years ago. He has several machines that allow him to build doors, windows, tables and other metal-based objects in a workshop he arranged for in his house.

He considers his business as a profitable one, since he invests little in raw materials, but he works hard.

"I am mostly asked to repair metal objects, such as chairs, tables, tricycles and others; but in the beginning of the month I am often asked to build doors and windows", he proudly comments.

Thanks to this business, he has been able to give his son an education.

In the busiest days he hires helpers, whom he pays a daily wage, otherwise he wouldn't be able to complete his orders.

He likes his work, and for this he requires your help to purchase more raw material.

This is Eler's second loan with MFP. He is thankful for the trust and says that he will be timely with the loan repayments.

He will invest the 1000 soles in the purchase of metal sheets to build doors and windows and to repair other objects.
