Narjs Group's story

This group is called “Narjs” and it consists of four women from Sana`a, Yemen. They have very good experience working together and helping each other out. They applied for a loan of 170,000 YER.

One of the members is Narjs. She is a very hardworking person who very much wants to get ahead. She is 29 years old. She comments that she always strives to the maximum to be able to help her family. She comments that she sells different types of handicrafts like embroidery and and decorative devices which are made completely by hand or by using only simple tools. She describes her business as not being enough to supports her expenses.

She’s asking for a youth loan of 40,000 YER to buy embroidery and and decorative devices to increase her stock so as to be able to meet customer demand since she has many pending orders that she’d like to be able to fill.
