A loan of $750 helped a member to replace work tools.

Los Hijos Del Sol Group's story

This is the recently formed "Los Hijos del Sol" group, made up of five members. One of them is Adrian, who has been elected chair of the group.

Adrian is 33, single, and lives alone. He is a construction worker, and works approximately 48 hours a week. His work is very demanding, but it allows him to meet his expenses and support his parents. He has been engaged in this occupation for eight years and it is going very well. His work much requested, and many people seek him out for various contracts. What he likes best is doing work in pottery and porcelain.

The money from the loan will help him replace some worn-out tools. This will allow him to do better work. In the future he wishes to start some business that will allow him to work in his own home. Adrian is grateful for the loan, and would like to say, "Thank you very much for supporting my communal bank!"
