Maria Isabel's story

Maria, 33, is married and has 3 children. She lives in Santa Cruz de Yojoa. Ten years ago, Maria set up a business selling clothing and shoes in the local market so that she could generate her own income. She sells pants, sandals, shirts, and other items. She has been taking a number of loans to keep her business going; she has completed 22 loan cycles in ODEF. The loan she requests now is for 28,000 Honduran lempiras. She will use this loan to buy shoes, shirts, and pants to stock up her business. Maria hopes to continue to grow and work hard, so that she can continue to get ahead.
