Margarita's story

Margarita, who is 36 years old, is a mother and the partner of Teodoro, who is 30. They live in free union and have three children who are still minors. She is the owner of an adobe house. She is known for being a very hard-working woman, and along with Teodor, she works in the production of coffee and achiote. They have done this work for 10 years, and they have the good fortune to have some parcels of land that are very productive and fertile, since they only use organic compost, guano (bird manure) from the islands.

In the normal course of their work, they constantly need to hire day laborers from the area, principally at harvest time. Now she has plans to carry out the appropriate maintenance of her parcels, which need to be weeded to avoid the consumption of their nutrients from the soil, for which it is necessary to have money for the coming project to complete the work smoothly.

She has many plans for the future, among which is the opening of a business -- a grocery store -- and offering her little ones a quality higher education. For the present campaign, she needs to have 4000 PEN to buy coffee plants and organic bird manure. She should also have capital to pay the day laborers who will carry out the various productive activities.
