Virgilio is 45 years old and married with four children. His children attend the school in his community, which is 5 kilometers away from their home.
Virgilio has made a living in agriculture for more than 20 years. There was a drought during the last harvest, and he lost crop yield because of the lack of water. This disaster caused a failure in his earnings. This eventually affected his entire family, who depend on the harvests that he produces every year.
Virgilio is a very beloved and respected person in his community because of his dedication to his children and his work. There area days when he has to work as a day laborer on a farm to earn some extra pesos to provide for his children.
He is applying for this loan to buy chemical fertilizer, agrochemical products, and potato seeds. He will then be able to improve the quality and yield of his crops. He has a small plot of land where he works in his community.
He hopes to improve his income and give his children a better quality of life, so they can go to school in better conditions. This loan will help his entire family and the hard work which they do every day.
