Uamsho Group's story

Mawazo is the vice president of the business group Uamsho. She is divorced and the mother of five young children. Mawazo is a vendor of a local juice commonly known as "Madrakwa". In addition, she also sells foodstuffs (tomatoes, peanuts, potatoes, beans, etc.). She started her business with a loan from IMF Hekima.

This new loan will serve to supply Mawazo with two baskets of tomatoes, one basket of peanuts, and 50 kg of sorghum. Mawazo aims to improve her business. Her current challenge is the constant worry that she will run out of her supply of goods. Thus, she is thankful to Hekima for their support and empowerment of women who are small entrepreneurs. It is worth noting that one member of the group is holding her baby.
