A loan of $775 helped to buy cattle.

Ana Lucia's story

Ana has been in the Tres de Noviembre Communal Bank for 2 years. The entire time, she has strengthened the friendship with all of her female neighbors and friends at the communal bank. She lives by the parish of Cumbe in Cuenca, a place that has a lot of vegetation and where you can admire the beauty of the countryside. Its architecture is a mix of modern and antique. Its people make a living from raising animals, agriculture, and many work in the city in various businesses.

Ana is 25 years old, is single and lives with her parents in a house they own. Her father works as a private employee and her mother works in agriculture.

She makes a living from raising cattle most of the time. She sells the milk that she obtains from her cattle. Other animals that she raises are guinea pigs, chickens and pigs, which she sells in her community.

She is going to invest her new loan in buying cattle to continue growing in this business.

Her goal is to have many more animals to raise.
