A loan of $300 helped to buy ingredients to prepare traditional dishes.

Ana Julia's story

Ana, 41, lives with her husband and three minor children who attend school. To have a better life, Ana works in her own business cooking lunches, ‘pupusas’ [filled, grilled corn cakes], fried manioc and other traditional dishes. Her business is home-based so she also does the household chores.

Ana is asking INTEGRAL for a loan to buy flour, basic grains, cheese, vegetables, spices, dressings, disposable plates and other products to make larger amounts of food and have the necessary items to sell her products. She’s a very cheerful woman who strives to help her husband the best way possible to cover household expenses and have a more stable, stress-free life.
