A loan of $400 helped to buy pigs, pig feed and a bag of fertilizer.

Evelye's story

Evelye is married with six children and lives in a five-room apartment in the Bamenda Mezam Division of Cameroon.
She has faced many challenges in her life, amongst which were the death of her father while she was at a tender age and could not take care of herself as well as poverty in her family causing the children not to have adequate education or three square meals per day.
With the new loan of 200.000 frs requested, she will buy pigs, pig feed and a bag of fertilizer to fertilize her farm. She holds strongly the fact that her business will succeed because she has been doing the business for long with regular customers. She is determined to dedicate all her time towards the realization of this project. With this activity, the community will benefit from the animal droppings, thus fertilizing their farming and leading to improved yields. With the profit from this loan, she will educate her children and expand her business. To her, GHAPE loans are preferable because of convenient repayment intervals and low interest rates compared to other organizations.
